New Industry Innovation and Science Australia members

New Industry Innovation and Science Australia (IISA) members will expand the breadth and depth of its experience and connections across the innovation ecosystem. 

Dr Angeline Achariya, Brodie McCulloch and Linda Scott have been appointed members of the IISA Board. Their experience spans multiple sectors, technologies and innovation levers.

Achariya has in-depth experience in scaling innovation from industry, research and entrepreneurial pathways for commercial impact in the agriculture and food industry and sector.

McCulloch has deep experience in enabling innovators and entrepreneurs across Australia. From ideation to scaling through to investment, he is an expert on building support systems and organisations.

Scott has a demonstrated ability to engage widely with stakeholders to drive innovation outcomes. She brings experience across the finance sector and working across all 3 levels of government.

All members will serve 3-year terms.

The IISA focus on innovation, science and research matters. They are responsible for the promotion of investment in industry and Australia’s innovation, science and research system and the monitoring innovation programs through committees, including ongoing projects under programs which are now closed to applications.

The Office of Industry Innovation and Science Australia provides support to its board and is led by the Executive Director. Its responsibilities include supporting the implementation of long-term initiatives and performing legislative functions and directions from the minister.
