Multi-material 3D printer

XYZ Innovation will demonstrate Objet’s first multi-material 3D printer, the Connex500, on stand 1911 during National Manufacturing Week May 12-15.

Also on display will be the compa ny’s new desktop 3D printer, the Alaris 30, and a new range of cost-effective laser cutters.

The versatility and speed of both printers enables improvements to the internal development speed and capa bilities of businesses involved in proto typing and design.

The 3D printers can produce smooth-surfaced models, complex geometries and even moving elements in build layers as fine as 0.016mm.

Further, the user-friendly printers are said to eliminate many of the pre and post handling elements of traditional rapid prototyping machines.
