Major packaging show heads to Sydney in 09

AUSPACK will be heading to the Sydney Showgrounds, Sydney Olympic Park from Tuesday 16 – Friday 19 of June 2009.

A large number of exhibitors from 2007 have already booked their stands for the largest bi-annual packaging & processing machinery, materials and associated technology exhibition in Australia.

According to Rob Keen, Event Director, Exhibitions & Trade Fairs (ETF), many of the major packaging and processing machinery manufacturers have already signed up for this year’s Auspack, highlighting the success of this prestigious event

“The theme for this year’s show is The future of packaging and processing- Innovation, inspiration, results emphasising the key benefit this event can deliver; the opportunity in just four days to meet agents, distributors and thousands of potential customers who travel from throughout Australia, New Zealand and the surrounding region to attend,” Keen said.

“Visitors attending AUSPACK 2009 in June will have the opportunity to see the latest in packaging technology from more than 200 exhibitors displaying over 900 brands and services,” he added.

Attendees of AUSPACK can expect to see exhibits servicing areas such as packaging and food processing, filling and sealing, weighing, bottling, labelling, palletising, wrapping, capping, quality control, materials handling, vacuum packaging, waste management, coding, marking and much, much more.

AUSPACK is owned and presented by the Australian Packaging Machinery Association (APMA), Australia’s only national packaging machinery body.
