Leopard Systems prospers through tricky times

Despite the uncertainty of the recent year, Leopard Systems was awarded “Australia and New Zealand’s Fastest Growing Partner Award” in recognition of strong sales performance and consistent growth throughout 2009, at the Motorola ANZ Channel Partner Conference, held in Melbourne.

Vince Chiappazzo, Managing Director of Enterprise Mobility Business at Motorola Australia presented the award and highlighted the scale of this accolade in light of the uncertain fiscal climate endured, particularly when many businesses were forced to downsize and make cut backs during this period.

“We are delighted with this award” said Alex Koumaras, Managing Director of Leopard Systems.

“It marks a major milestone to be recognised for our efforts with Motorola, especially as we celebrate our 20th anniversary this year.”

Leopard Systems is a leading mobility solution provider, renowned for its innovative, strategic solutions to increase businesses competitive edge. Highly proficient in Transport and Logistics, Supply Chain, Retail and Field Service, the company supplies clients including Australia Post, Couriers Please, Kings Transport, Bunnings and Country Road with its software solutions, hardware, Wireless LAN and services requirements.

“Many of Leopard’s clients invested in their systems and infrastructure during 2009 to ensure operations ran at optimal levels. During the down-turn, businesses became increasingly aware of the strategic investments they could make to ensure they were well-placed for the up-turn,” said Koumaras.

“This strategic investment, combined with our breadth of expertise and reputation for value has enabled our business to dominate during this period and help our customers prosper.

“Whilst mobility is not a new phenomenon there has been renewed emphasis for real-time communication, an increasingly mobile workforce and greater customer accountability. Our mobile solutions are developed to make businesses work harder, faster and smarter which in turn delivers real value for stakeholders.

“During the last 18 months we have made significant investments to our business. Our workforce has doubled and our expansion into Sydney has ensured we’re well placed for future growth” adds Koumaras.
