Enterprise mobility provider, Leopard Systems, has appointed Robert Deane as national sales and business development director.
Based at the company’s head office in Melbourne, Deane will reportedly work closely with joint-managing directors, Alex Koumaras and Robin Fowler, focussing on the strategic development of new and existing business.
“Established in 1990, Leopard Systems has grown dramatically, both in physical size, product range and breadth of professional services over the last five years and Roberts’s appointment is pivotal for Leopard’s continued growth and market penetration,” said Koumaras.
“We expect Robert’s deep experience in the industry will contribute greatly to our efforts as we continue to expand and develop our suite of signature mobility solutions, designed for key verticals including Transport and Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Retail and Field Service”.
Deane joins Leopard Systems having spent his entire career in various key account and sale management roles. Specifically, Deane is said to have extensive experience within Leopard’s core market of Transport and Logistics, rising to the role of national sales manager for Mayne Logistics, before its sale to TOLL and Linfox. Robert went on to spend six years in Enterprise Mobility, before joining our team.
Deane says: “Leopard Systems have a compelling, company-wide vision to be Australia’s leading end-to-end mobile solution provider, delivering innovative, high-return mobility solutions within transport and logistics, warehousing, retail and field services. I am extremely excited by the journey ahead and am confident we will deliver that vision to the benefit of our existing and new customers”.
“After our triumphs in 2009, major Motorola, Intermec sales and our many software implementations, we need to further increase the focus on mobile-solutions with businesses intent on gaining efficiencies and profit growth. I am confident Robert’s industry expertise combined with the sophisticated capabilities of our software development, sales force and of course, our reputation, will deliver a great deal of exciting growth opportunities for Leopard Systems over the coming year.”
