Lencrow Materials Handling introduces its second generation pedestrian reach stackers.
The latest reach stacker model follows up on the success of the first series, which has been in operation in Australian workplaces for over twelve months. The new pedestrian reach stackers incorporate several improvements based on the feedback from operators to enhance operator safety and ergonomic operation.
Designed for use in small to medium businesses, the new reach stacker does not require any operator licensing, and the user can quickly learn how to operate it safely.
New improvements in the second generation pedestrian reach stackers include proportionate hydraulics for lift and reach as well as a more ergonomic handle; safety rubber bumper for operator safety; improved reliability; and easy maintenance.
Ross Grassick, general manager of the Lencrow Group explains that the company takes feedback from their customers and in turn works with the factory to make better and safer equipment.
Major features in the new pedestrian reach stackers include long duty cycles between charging batteries for the unit’s AC operation; improved charging with the use of automatic charges that gauge battery condition while charging; single point watering with water gun to simplify battery maintenance; lift heights up to 5500mm, choice of two capacities 1500kg and 2000kg; and power steering and side shift.
