Landmark (an AWB company) has successfully negotiated a forklift fleet management agreement with Adapt-A-Lift Forklift Rentals and Sales.
The agreement will see Landmark replace its current materials handling equipment with a fleet of new equipment at over 250 sites across Australia.
Landmark undertook an extensive evaluation of its existing forklift fleet during the first half of 2008 assessing factors such as safety, environment, reliability, running costs, fuel consumption and compliance.
Importantly, the role that forklifts play in delivering customer service to Landmark customers was also put under the spotlight with a strong emphasis on workplace safety.
The results of the assessment revealed there was an opportunity to improve forklift safety through innovation and technological improvements, reduce the overall cost of running the forklift fleet, and elevate customer service standards by having a reliable forklift fleet.
Landmark’s evaluation of products, technology and service provision resulted in the selection of Adapt-A-Lift as its supplier based on its specialist fleet management capabilities.
Adapt-A-Lift will be providing a full service fleet management package, utilising AAL’s proprietary Forktrack fleet management system for management of product, service and maintenance and ensuring Landmark as a leader in safety and compliance.
