Go-anywhere power welder

THE new Lincoln Electric Power MIG 180C delivers the widest welding output range in its class (30—180A) with professional quality and features to make welding easy.

The compact, go-anywhere Power MIG 180C can MIG weld from 0.5mm to 5mm sheet metal in a single pass and up to 12mm steel using self-shielded wires.

Ideal for farmers to fabricators alike, Lincoln Electric’s Diamond Core technology provides a wide voltage “sweet spot” to make starts easy and tuning in settings a breeze, even for the not-so-experienced MIG operator.

Producing low spatter for less clean-up, this technology delivers outstanding results on aluminium and stainless, as well as mild steel.

The Power MIG 180C is spool-gun ready for high wire speed aluminium welding. There are no complicated add on modules and multiple connections to the machine required — it’s plug in and go.

The Power MIG 180C is also the only machine in its class where a spot timer can be installed.

Compared to other MIG machines in this price bracket, the Power MIG 180C delivers the higher quality design and build for which Lincoln Electric is renowned. The dual gear-driven, cast aluminium drive block ensures rigid wire alignment and positive wire traction without crushing, minimising birdnesting and wire slip.

The large enclosed industrial drive motor delivers plenty of torque and prevents grinding dust compromising the motor. The brass-to-brass gun connections ensure quality connections over the long term while the extra PC board protection offered by the “potted and trayed” system offers some of the toughest electronics protection in the industry.

With these professional features, and many more, the Power MIG 180C ensures long term performance and reliability. Coming in a Ready-to-Weld package, the Power MIG 180C is ready to work, with cables, gun, nozzles and consumables.
