Free trial new Inventor LT software

AUTODESK has announced a technology preview release of Autodesk Inventor LT software, a new member of its Inventor family of software products.

Inventor LT will help customers enhance their communications with suppliers and manufacturing partners by making it easy and affordable to create, share and edit 3D part designs.

A trial version of Autodesk Inventor LT is now available for download from http://labs.autodesk.com/technologies/inventor_lt for a limited time only.

The software is said to eliminate many of the headaches associated with moving files between different CAD systems.

As a result, customers can realise the benefits of 3D part design and AutoCAD interoperability to get their jobs done easier.

The preview is only available as English language software and is available for download only Australia, and New Zealand, after a limited release for the US and Canada in May this year.

Create, Share and Edit 3D Designs for Improved Supply Chain Communication Inventor LT is designed to help customers improve their communications with their supply chain by making editable 3D part design data more accessible than ever before.

Rich functionality available in Inventor LT enables designers of manufacturing systems to spend less time and money on file translation for suppliers and customers, due to Inventor LT ‘s affordable tools to import/export and create/modify 3D part models in many common file formats to meet requirements for communicating in both 2D and 3D.

As the inventors of AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor LT is designed to allow the user to seamlessly add 3D to your design process as it enables users to read and write native DWG files with full 3D associativity – with no translation required.
