Coolum Beach caravan maker wants to make 25 new hires

New caravan business Zone RV has said it is looking to expand its Coolum factory and double its workforce of 25 by December.

The Sunshine Coast Daily reports that the business, which began operating last year, is seeking staff in boilermaking, fabrication, sales and other areas.

“While Zone RV might be considered ‘new’ in terms of caravan brands, our team of local experts have over 25 years’ experience in composite manufacturing,” co-founder David Biggar told the Daily.

“Each caravan is built with Tufflite panels found in the marine and aircraft industries, exclusive Panelock bonding, monocoque construction (originally developed for boats, aircrafts and rockets) and precision engineering – leaving zero room for error.”
