SUPPLY Chain optimisation provider Manhattan Associates, Inc. announced early this week it has achieved a successful extension of its ISO 9001:2000 quality registration to include its Sydney office, from where the company runs its Australia and New Zealand operations.
The ISO 9001:2000 certification is recognised internationally as a standard for quality management.
The awarding of the certification requires continual development and improvement of those processes that control the way solutions and services are delivered, providing a mechanism to both enhance revenue through the pursuit of continually higher service levels and reduce costs through the elimination of redundant activities.
The certification extension follows the successful audit of Manhattan Associates’ local operations in keeping with the company’s global standards.
According to Chris Stephenson, Managing Director ANZ, Manhattan Associates, as the company continues to expand its operations, it is important to maintain and improve upon the standard of quality the company’s customers have come to expect.
“We are proud to have successfully extended our existing quality management processes to our local operations here in Australia/New Zealand.
“The certification is testament to Manhattan Associates’ global commitment to service excellence and demonstrates to both global and local customers that our regional operations are very much focussed on operating at the highest standard,” Stephenson said.
Manhattan Associates received its first ISO 9001:2000 certification in March 2001. Visit www.manh.com/about/iso_certification.html to view the certification document.
