CMYKhub is expanding its manufacturing services with the purchase of a manufacturing facility and machinery from Lotsa Printing.
“We’ve purchased the production side of the Lotsa business and we’ll move machinery from the wide-format facility based at Cairns into the existing digital and offset plant in Port Douglas, which will become the new CMKYhub manufacturing base in Far North Queensland,” said Craig Graham, group operations manager at CMKYhub.
The company already operates manufacturing hubs in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
According to Graham, Marty Griffiths, Lotsa Printing’s general manager, has taken over the retail side of the company and has become a customer of CMYKhub.
“The opportunity to support customers and employment in Far North Queensland by manufacturing print locally will ensure that printed media continues to be a viable option for marketing of the vital tourism industry in the region,” added Trent Nankervis, managing director of CMYKhub.
