China’s first reactive adhesives plant

H.B. Fuller is opening China’s first reactive adhesives manufacturing plant in China, as part of a new growth strategy for the company.

According to a report on website Azom.com, the new world-class facility, coupled with the company’s R&D technical centre in Shanghai, will allow the H.B. Fuller to better-serve customers in the Asia Pacific region.

The new plant is in the Nanjing Chemical Industrial Park in China. It is the first of its kind in the country.

“Urethanes and other reactive adhesives will be manufactured in the plant and will be supplied to a wide range of markets, including woodworking, window, textile, solar, flexible packaging, filter and construction. The facility enhances the company’s partnership in the region as well as supports its growth strategy and improves market position,” said the report.
