Calling out for young manufacturers

AUSTRALIA’S longest running national manufacturing awards program, the Endeavour Awards, is calling for all young manufacturers 32 years of age or under to enter this year’s Endeavour Awards program.

The ‘Young Manufacturer of the Year’ Award recognises the elite members of Australia’s next generation of manufacturers who have made an outstanding contribution to his or her company, and to the wider manufacturing community.

Although this is the only category in the Endeavour Awards program open to individuals, it is a great way for companies to applaud and recognise their standout young manufacturers.

Free to enter, the prestigious Endeavour Awards program offers a unique occasion for manufacturers to demonstrate their successes to customers and peers alike.

With nine categories and an overall ‘Manufacturer of the Year’ award as well as over $31,000 in prizes, the program is open to all companies regardless of size who have a manufacturing presence in Australia, including engineering and process companies.

The nine award categories include:

  • Technology Application of the Year
  • Australian Consumer Product of the Year
  • Australian Industrial Product of the Year
  • Australian Steel Innovation Award
  • Exporter of the Year
  • Environmental Solution of the Year
  • Global Integration Award
  • Safety Scheme of the Year
  • Young Manufacturer of the Year

The 2009 Endeavour Awards presentation gala dinner will be held May 13, RACV Club, Melbourne.
