Breakfast Seminar: Successful strategies for emission trading

E.L Blue and Manufacturers’ Monthly breakfast seminar

Invite to a special CEO & CFO forum

BACKGROUND

The proposed Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trading Scheme will significantly affect the manufacturing industry. For smaller manufacturers that are initially exempt it represents a window of opportunity to exploit a cost advantage. For others and soon everyone it is something that needs to be prepared for now. Robin Ormerod, founder of an environmental and energy consultancy, will look at the options and explain the planning strategies every manufacturer should be taking.

Wayne St.Baker helped set up the High Performance Consortium, a group of smaller manufacturers that collaborate and work together to beat their larger local and international competitors. He will share insights on cost effective ways of achieving continuous improvement and fully utilising local manufacturing strategic advantages.
