Product: Barrier Slow-Motion Compliance Speed Hump
GEELONG-based Barrier Security Products designs, manufactures and imports a range of over 250 workplace safety and security products exporting directly to the UK and US and uses an extensive network of distributors in New Zealand, Russia and Spain.
Manufactured and designed in Australia, the Slo-motion Compliance speed hump is made from an injection molded linear density polyethylene in 250mm modules which are manufactured to comply with Australian Safety Standards AS2890:1:2004.
Polyethylene was chosen over steel and rubber as a suitable product to withstand the treatment received from vehicles over a long period of time, as it won’t crack, get brittle or rust and is suitable for Australia’s harsh environmental conditions.
Despite its lightweight construction, the speed hump offers incredible strength and is able to handle both vehicles and light trucks.
The product has now gained interest from overseas exporting directly to the UK and US with a new Russian distributor appointed to target the European market.
