Balluff invests in a custom built automation center in Victoria

Balluff is expanding in Australia and has invested in the formation of a wholly-owned subsidiary and a custom built automation center in Bayswater, Victoria.

The company is a specialist in the area of industrial automation and is considered a leader in sensor technology. Balluff specialises in products for industrial sensing, networking and identification devices.

Florian Hermle, Head of Management of the Balluff Group with headquarters in Germany stated, “We have seen tremendous growth over our 15 years in Australia as Balluff-Leuze, and the formation of a new wholly owned Balluff subsidiary ensures the full support of a truly global company to improve our local presence and support for customers”.

The company’s new 650-square-mtr building will be a customer support, training, and sales and marketing centre. The facility includes “green concepts” and employee-friendly features.

This new facility demonstrates our commitment to customer service excellence and will allow us to expand our portfolio of services to offer added value at all levels.”

Balluff is the Australian subsidiary of Balluff GmbH, based in Neuhausen, Germany. The company’s Australian headquarters reside in Victoria with offices in New South Wales and Queensland.
