Automation seminars to hit the road

One of the highlights of Rockwell Automation’s new travelling industry event–On Tour ’09–will be a series of seminars from key industry players looking at important technology trends for 2009.

Kicking off in Melbourne end-April, the seminars will be presented by representatives from companies including global IP networking leader Cisco, instrumentation specialist Endress+Hauser, and industrial automation and robotics technology group, Machinery Automation and Robotics (MAR).

According to Rockwell Automation marketing manager, Chris Chan, the ‘technology trends’ seminars will provide insight into the evolution of technologies that are of general interest to several different Australian industry sectors. “We aim to provide a broad forum for the exchange of information and ideas,” said Chan.

“The On Tour ‘09 event goes far beyond what Rockwell Automation alone has to offer. It will address a wide range of issues and new technology trends that will impact on where the industry is heading.”

The ‘technology trends’ seminars from Cisco, Endress+Hauser and MAR will be featured on each day of Rockwell Automation’s On Tour ’09 event, which commences at the Melbourne Park Function Centre on 28 April, and progresses to Sydney (26-27 May), Adelaide (10-11 June), Perth (30 June), Brisbane (21-22 July) and Auckland (18-19 August).
