As automation reshapes production lines, it’s also transforming how facilities are maintained. Robotic cleaning is no longer a futuristic concept, it’s today’s best solution for tackling the rigorous demands of industrial environments.

Tennant Australia is leading the charge with its innovative range of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), engineered to meet the real-world cleaning challenges of large, complex, and high-traffic facilities. From heavy-duty floor care in industrial sites to agile navigation in dynamic manufacturing spaces, Tennant’s AMR fleet delivers intelligent cleaning with minimal human intervention and maximum return on investment.

Industry first: T16AMR robotic scrubber

Tennant made history with the T16AMR, the first robotic scrubber of its size designed specifically for industrial and manufacturing environments. This heavy-duty robotic ride-on scrubber wasn’t just a technological leap, it redefined what was possible in autonomous cleaning for large-scale operations.

Since its launch in Australia in 2021, it has gained rapid traction, with leading household packaging, food and beverage manufacturers, and major logistics companies embracing the innovation.

Powered by Brain Corp’s proven AI platform, the T16AMR Industrial Robotic Floors Scrubber was built to handle the toughest cleaning jobs in manufacturing plants, warehouses, and logistics centers, covering up to 4,180 m² per hour. With its robust construction and intelligent navigation, it avoids obstacles, adjusts routes in real-time, and executes repeatable cleaning paths with precision.

With up to 4 hours of continuous runtime, the T16AMR helps teams stay focused on high-value tasks while maintaining cleaner, safer environments with unmatched efficiency and reliability.

Compact agility: The New X4 ROVR

Making its debut is the X4 ROVR, Tennant Australia’s most compact and intelligent robotic solution yet. Purpose-built for complex, space-constrained environments, the X4 ROVR brings a new level of flexibility to autonomous cleaning.

Designed to thrive in smaller production areas, narrow corridors, and mixed-use zones, the X4 ROVR delivers powerful performance in a sleek, highly maneuverable form. It’s equipped with a suite of advanced sensors, including 2D and 3D LiDAR cameras, enabling real-time obstacle detection, adaptive path planning, and safe operation even in high-traffic areas.

With a 38 L solution tank, the X4 ROVR provides a cleaning productivity rate of up to 1,860 m² per full tank, making it ideal for frequent, high-visibility cleaning tasks across compact industrial spaces.

Why robotic cleaning?

The benefits of robotic cleaning extend far beyond simple cost savings. In today’s manufacturing and logistics sectors, automation offers a strategic advantage as uptime is critical and the pressure on continuous production has never been higher.

By automating routine floor care, operations can reallocate staff to higher-value tasks, maintain hygiene standards without interruption, and reduce safety risks while keeping pace with the 24/7 demands of modern industrial facilities.

Built on experience. powered by innovation.

Tennant’s Robotic Floor Scrubbers are backed by expert service, national technical support teams, and remote diagnostics, ensuring your robotic fleet performs at its best, day in and day out. With advanced AI, proven engineering, and unmatched support, Tennant’s AMR fleet is redefining what’s possible in industrial floor care.

Welcome to the future of industrial cleaning. It’s autonomous, intelligent, and already at work in businesses like yours.
