Autodesk vendors AEC Systems, KarelCAD, and ADA CADPartners have merged.
As of earlier this month, the companies have been trading as A2K Technologies. with A2K estimating that they could be among the country’s top 500 private companies.
A2K Technologies said in a statement that there would be little change to operations at their Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Auckland and Beijing offices.
A2K is operating with joint CEOs Fari Fanaeyan (from AEC Systems) and Paul Laycock (from KarelCAD).
“At the centre of this decision is our shared desire to deliver a new level of vision, service and innovation,” said Fanaeyan.
Laycock added that “In addition to the far deeper level of technical service offerings, we will benefit from our combined operations, resources and infrastructure that has characterised the unique businesses until now.”
Autodesk’s programs are used in engineering, manufacturing and other industries.
