Aurora Labs, WorleyParsons establish Additive Manufacturing Solution Centre

Australian innovator Aurora Labs has signed a binding term sheet with Sydney-based WorleyParsons to distribute its 3D printing technology across various infrastructure and resource industries.

A specialist in the development of advanced 3D metal printers, powders and digital parts, Aurora delivers its technology to major infrastructure, mining and resource companies.

As part of the deal, a new Additive Manufacturing Solution Centre will also service the infrastructure, mining, oil and gas industries globally.

The designs created in the Solution Centre will form part of a broader online designs catalogue to be developed by Aurora.

“We are extremely pleased that since working with WorleyParsons in January, our collaboration has now resulted in a clearly defined arrangement, said David Budge, Aurora’s managing director and interim chairman.

“The Solution Centre plans to introduce 3D printing to major infrastructure, mining and resource companies with a competitive advantage over the general market through expert use of key technologies.”
