Arcadis Australia Pacific has announced a strategic alliance with Australian tech innovator RedEye to transform the Australian built asset industry’s use of data.
The strategic alliance will see Arcadis integrate RedEye’s innovative cloud solution into its strategic asset management offering, bringing a tangible digital solution to public and private organisations that own, operate and maintain critical infrastructure.
RedEye provides an enterprise mobile solution that transfers “as-built” engineering drawings and related data to the cloud. The platform allows teams to easily collaborate and find, markup, back draft, review, approve, use and manage their data from anywhere, and on any device.
“Building information modelling (BIM) is slowly beginning to meet its promised potential, but what of all the existing data?” asked Stephen Uhr, client and corporate development director at Arcadis.
“With RedEye, you don’t have to wait for the next big project but can act immediately to bring existing engineering data into the digital world in a useable form, by making your existing drawings cloud-based and mobile. This saves time, improves safety and collaboration, saves money and provides your first essential and tangible step into digital solutions,” he said.
“Our unique solutions sit within the rapidly growing big data market, one of the fastest growing enterprise markets with a projected global value of US$4.3 billion by 2018,” said Wayne Gerard, CEO of RedEye.
“The alliance has the scale and depth of experience to transform the way built assets are operated and managed all over the world.”
