A group of research analysts will attend briefings at Moly-Cop’s Waratah headquarters, as they prepare to write pre-marketing reports and efforts to sell the grinding media business step up.
The Australian Financial Review’s Street Talk column reports that the analysts from firms including Deutsche Bank will tour the site tomorrow, as the mining consumables business heads towards either an ASX listing or a trade sale.
Earlier this week, The Australian reported that a float was looking increasingly likely.
The rest of Arrium, which went into administration in April, will be sold off as Arrium Australia, and includes the loss-making Whyalla steelworks.
