2012 Endeavour Awards Finalists: Exporter of the Year

Despite the strong Australian dollar, many manufacturers are successfully exporting. Finalists for the 2012 Endeavour Awards Exporter of the Year category are:

Eco – Terazz End of Life Tile

The Eco – Terrazz End of Life tile was created as a way of lessening environmental impact by recycling old Eco-Terazz flooring which was aimed at the export only market.
By offering a freight paid end-of-life take back program, customers avoid landfill charges and the freight cost to get it there.
The concept of End-of-Life VCT was to offer a product that could be priced to offset higher FX (foreign exchange) but still maintain margin percentages. The move was initially defensive, to protect existing customer bases, but would become a means for further export market penetration when FX and pricing eased.
