16,000 bottles per hour at Russian PET bottle production line

Russian bottled water supplier Shishkin Les uses stretch blow moulding machines supplied by Italian company SIPA for production of PET bottles for its spring water product range.

The leading bottled water company supplies bottles of water in ranges from 400ml to 5L.

Their Russia-based production line incorporates two SFL 6 linear blow moulding machines, two pneumatic conveyors for the empty bottles and a Still Fill-S 32.32.8 module for rinsing, filling and capping of the bottles.

The line has been operating for the past five years with a reported output of 16,000 bottles per hour.

The Still Fill-S is a gravity filling mono block designed specifically for the cold filling of non carbonated beverages such as still water. They can have 16-120 valves, with a filling speed from 4,800 to 52,000 bph on a 1.5L bottle.

The company has three SFL 6 PET Blow Moulders running in other lines in the facility.

The SFL 6 has 6 cavities and can reportedly produce bottles ranging in sizes up to 5L. HBM Plastics & Packaging Technologies, SIPA’s Oceania representatives, says the machines are renowned for its high production outputs and excellent container quality.

Shishkin Les was founded in 1998.
