The Spectrum thread cutting taps are manufactured from either premium quality vanadi um powder steel or HSCo for superior toughness and edge strength, with a choice of gold (bright flutes/thread) or steam tempered finishes to provide a smooth cutting action with less build-up on the cutting edge.
