WASCA saw a need for a coating that is more corrosion-resistant than a conventional zinc coating, Mechanically Galvanised or Hot Dipped Galvanised.
Developed to improve on Hot Dipped Galvanising, WASCOAT is especially suitable for smaller and high tensile parts. Testing has shown that WASCOAT is of a higher quality and will perform better in comparison to parts that have been Hot Dipped Galvanised.

Where should you use WASCOAT ?
WASCOAT was developed for use where existing Hot Dipped Galvanised parts are specified and is especially suited to Building & Construction and automotive applications. It is suitable for environmental categories 1, 2 & 3 of ISO 9223 and AS3566 Class 3.
