Toyota Material Handling Australia has released the new Raymond 7000 Series reach forklifts.
The new stand-up 7500 and sit/stand 7700 forklifts, which supersede the 7400 and 7600 models, are said to include new "Eco-Performance" benefits.
The forklifts are said to provide the latest in economic and ecologic technologies, and include regenerative braking to save energy and reduce component wear.
All high capacity 7000 Series models offer regenerative lowering technology (optional on other models) that creates power, with up to 10% of the amps returned back to the battery when the truck is lowering its load.
According to the company, Raymond’s ac motors, unlike dc-powered trucks, deliver the same level of performance until the battery wears down with considerably less maintenance requirements.
