FARO Technologies has released its FARO 3D Imager AMP, a high performance non-contact 3D imaging system, reportedly capable of collecting millions of points in just seconds.
According to the FARO, imager is ideal for parts with complex shapes or large, smooth surfaces as it is able to measure a large surface area in one shot. The imager can capture the complete, detailed image of the object within its half-meter field of view with one click.
The AMP is suited for applications in quality control, reverse engineering, and rapid manufacturing.
