CITECT, one of the world’s largest real-time intelligence and industrial automation software companies, has received the 2008 Frost and Sullivan Australia and New Zealand Award for Market Leadership in SCADA Systems.
The award is presented to the automation company which has delivered excellent customer service to its clients.
Michael Preston, Business Development Director, Citect South-East Asia, attended the awards dinner on April 25 to accept the award.
Preston said it was an honour to receive the award amongst such a high calibre of industry colleagues.
“The award is particularly meaningful to Citect as our valued customers participated in the judging process.”
Citect’s recently appointed CEO, Christopher Crowe said that as resource pressures and regulations within the rapidly changing global market heightened, manufacturers were increasingly seeking robust solutions that more adeptly analysed performance and drive efficiency.
“Citect’s global presence has grown strongly in this environment, and the recent Frost and Sullivan award demonstrates the excellent reputation the company retains within the local SCADA market,” he said.
“We are especially honoured to be recognised for our leadership in the Australian automation market, where our company’s operations were first established more than 35 years ago.
“With the ARC Advisory Group’s HMI software market forecast for Asia of 14 per cent compound annual growth rate through 2010, focus on the local market will only intensify in the coming years.”
