Hyster Forklifts is sponsoring the 2010 National Forklift Championships, which recognises the best male and female forklift driver, for the third year running.
The National Forklift Championship will hold Finals at the Sydney Materials Handling Show on 26-28 October with $3,000 worth of prizes on offer to the best female and male forklift driver.
Individuals and companies, including from the manufacturing industry across Australia, are urged to take part in this competition.
“Having our forklifts driven by drivers from so many different industries gives us the opportunity to showcase our latest range, as well as get feedback from those in the driver’s seat. That kind of information is invaluable,” said Hyster director of sales, Allen Powell.
The National Forklift Championship’s National Co-ordinator, Bill Henman was pleased to have Hyster return because of the calibre of the forklifts.
“It gives competitors the opportunity to use a spacious, ergonomically designed forklift that allows for all drivers to be seated correctly and have clear vision masts. We are fully supportive of products and equipment that are safe for our industry that are effortless to operate,” he said.
