‘Automation of the future’ symposia: book now

The Institute of Instrumentation, Control and Automation (IICA) is holding an automation seminar bringing together local and international specialists in the field to find solutions for Australian companies.

The Institute of Instrumentation, Control and Automation (IICA) is holding an automation seminar bringing together local and international specialists in the field to find solutions for Australian companies.

The IICA 2010 Automation of the Future Symposia will take place in Newcastle on 18 August 2010, and will showcase local and international experiences and knowledge of automation systems and solutions in Australia.

The half-day event will include speakers from I & E Systems, National Instruments, Adept Electronic Solutions and Honeywell.

Sessions are as follows: Information Storage for Automation Systems in the Future; Techniques to optimise your automation with FPGA based controllers; Automated Inspection for Quality & Reliability; Quantitative Design of Fire & Gas Safety Systems; and Beyond Alarms – Securing the Operating Envelope.

The event is free for IICA members, and $195 for non-members.
