The Series B MicroLogix 1100 and MicroLogix 1100 DWD controllers deliver improved control and communications in one compact system.

Series B MicroLogix controllers include an onboard Ethernet web server with the ability to notify users of production faults via e-mail.

The embedded communications port and web server provides access to control information for real-time data sharing by OEMs, remote maintenance engineers and personnel throughout the production facility.

Users have easy access to basic controller and I/O status information with the embedded, multipurpose text LCD display. A built-in 10/100 Mbps EtherNet/IP port offers high-speed, peer-to-peer messaging.

In addition, online editing functionality enables modifications to be made to a program while it is running. This allows fine-tuning of the operating control system, including PID loops, thus reducing development time and troubleshooting.

Rockwell Automation has added the MicroLogix 1100 DWD controller for applications requiring a 12-24V DC power source.
